Rollers, Cleaners & Accessories

Jimway Cleaner

Comprehensive range of Conveyor Belt Accessories

It is not just about the conveyor belt.  Accessories, Rollers, Cleaners, Tracking Systems, Hazard Controls, Bolts and Buckets can be an integral part of an efficient conveyor belt system.

Conveyor Rollers

We offer a range of Jimway conveyor rollers, which come in various widths and diameters to match the requirements of the conveyor belt.

Along with this we carry a full range of impact and rubber disc return rollers along with a range of rubber lagged rollers for improved material release.

Conveyor Belt Cleaners

Our range of cleaners vary depending on the what industry sector your belt is operating in.  For example in the quarry and mining industry we recommend JimWay primary, secondary and V Plough cleaners, while in the food industry we recommend ASGCo Excalibure Food Grade Cleaners.

Skirting Systems

We offer a range of skirting or spill edge which is applied to the side of the conveyor belt to prevent product spilling over the edge.  For example we have Jimway bulb dual seal poly urethane skirting which is ideal for conveyors handling very dusty or fine materials.

Tracking Systems

We recommend Tru-Trac conveyor tracking systems as a maintenance and damage free means to track your conveyor belt.

Fasteners

We can help you choose the right fastener for your conveyor belt.  Our advice includes reviewing the likes of the tension and thickness of the belt, hinged vs. solid fastener and what is the application of the belt.

Our range of quality fasteners offers strength and durability as well the ability to repair a belt onsite in a timely, efficient way.  For example our Minet Mechanical Conveyor Belt Fastners are perfect for on-site repair and rapid mechanical joining of heavy duty conveyor belts when hot vulcanised joining is not a practical.

Adhesives, Foils and Paste

We go with the tried and true when it comes to adhesives, foils and pastes.  By this we mean that we supply what the manufacturer recommends in terms of adhesives for the belt or application, to ensure that we are able to meet their specifications.

Cleating

We can provide you with robust technical advice on cleating. Cleating is where lifts are added to the conveyor belt to ensure that the product moves smoothly through the production process.

In our Auckland facility we machine weld our cleats.  We are one of the only suppliers to do this!  Machine welding adds strength to the cleats and results in better accuracy when applying the cleat to the belt.

Our products include:

  • Nonex - recommended for food industry when the belt is exposed to oil and/or food
  • Fexlam - recommended for harsh environments and the agricultural industry where wear resistance is key

Tracking Strip

At Viking Conveyor we offer tracking strip for the underside of the belt, to ensure that the belt tracks correctly and stays in place.  Our tracking strip is machine welded rather than cold bonded.

Machine welding tracking slips offers the added benefit of strong, superior bond between the strip and the belt and a more accurate position of the strip on the belt.

Bordoflex

Bordoflex1.JPG

Bordoflex is a corrugated side wall to ensure products remain on flat conveyor belts.  We machine vulcanise the Bordoflex to the belt for a superior bond and accurate positioning.

It is the perfect solution for the food processing industry, where food safety and hygiene is a critical factor, as it offers a smooth and even finish.  There are no dangerous cervices where bacteria can build up.

Hazard Controls

Our focus is on ensuring the safe movement and operation of conveyor belts to protect your most important assets.  To support our conveyor belts we offer a range of conveyor safety products which are specifically designed to eliminate, isolate or minimise hazards.  We will work with you to understand your site safety needs and then provide robust technical advice to help you choose the right products for your site.

Buckets and Bolts

At Viking Conveyor we have a vast range of Elevator Bucket and Bolts which are suitable for a range of applicators such as aggregate, gravel, coal, gypsum, limestone, clay and concrete.
